Graciousness

1) Graciousness to me is having good manners, good behaviour, politeness, being kind and wonderful.

2) If there are two fruits left in a bowl, eat one fruit and leave the other fruit for another person to eat it./ If you are at the MRT train, you can give your seat to the elderly or to pregnant women./If you are walking into the lift and there is another person behind you walking into the lift, you can leave the lift door open and let the person walk into the lift./These are some acts of graciousness.

3) I greet my grandparents and parents every morning, I share my table with my classmates during recess and I say goodbye to my teachers everytime I leave from buddist class.

4) If we are not gracious to one another, we will be rude, inconsiderate and unkind from one another.

5)No. They speak on their handphone loudly in the library while I am reading a book and when the bus is coming, they squeeze into the queue and cut into our queue.

6)Give badges to pupils who show acts of graciousness and praise them during assembly.

7) I did not hear about such a project.

5 lessons from the book : " The Smart Surfers "

1) The first lesson is that we should respect other people's privacy. We cannot use someone's password.
2) The second lesson is that we must not trust a website that teaches you how to cheat, we should know what's right and wrong and not let what you read from the internet influence you.
3) The third lesson is that we should not infringe copyright. The copyright belongs to the creator. It protects the work of the creator from being used by others without permisson.
4) The fourth lesson is that we should not cyberbully. Cyberbullying is an unacceptable behaviour.
5) The fifth lesson is that we should not let gaming affect our schoolwork.
6) the sixth lesson is that we should not share personal information online.

Honey Fungus - One of the largest living organisms

Honey fungus or Armillaria is a genus of parasitic fungi that live on trees and woody shrubs. It includes about 10 species formerly lumped together as A. mellea.
Armillaria is long lived and form some of the largest living organisms in the world. The largest single organism (of the species Armillaria ostoyae) covers more than 3.4 square miles (8.9 km²) and is thousands of years old. As a forest pathogen, Armillaria can be very destructive. It is responsible for the "white rot" root disease (see below) of forests and is distinguished from Tricholoma (mycorrhizal) by this parasitic nature. Its high destructiveness comes from the fact that, unlike most parasites, it doesn't need to moderate its growth in order to avoid killing its host, since it will continue to thrive on the dead material.
